When you become a member of Legal
Club, you will be referred to a Plan Attorney based
on three criteria: area of law, language spoken and
location.
Membership includes you, your spouse
and any dependents 25 and younger and any dependents
living with you that may be financially dependent
upon you, such as a parent or grandparent.
You may use as many plan attorneys,
practicing any area of law, any where in the country
as often as you like. |
Attorney Provided Services

Free Services:
- Unlimited phone consultations, during business
hours, for each new legal matter.
- Unlimited face to face consultations, during
business hours, for each new legal matter. Whether
in person or over the phone, always allow your
attorney to consult with you and determine what
the best course of legal action is before you ever
spend a dime.
- Attorney review of legal documents (6 page max.)
per new matter.
- All legal documents, regardless of how simple
they seem, should be reviewed by a qualified plan
attorney prior to execution.
- The free review of
a document prior to entering in to a contractual
relationship could save you

- Plan attorneys will make phone calls on your behalf
- Plan attorneys will write letters on your behalf
- This is a very powerful free benefit. Have
you ever received a letter or call from someone
else’s attorney? If so, then you know
how intimidating that can be. Well now you
have the same ability to exert legal power
when needed.
- When deemed appropriate, your plan attorney will
write a letter or make a call in an effort to bring
resolution to a legal issue.
- Your plan attorney will complete a simple will
for you and your family and update it annually for
free
- All individuals and/or families should have at
the very least a simple will prepared by a qualified
plan attorney. It is important that you, not the
state you live in, determine how to allocate your
assets in the event of you or a loved one’s
demise.
- Your plan attorney will provide you with free helpful
advice on representing yourself in small claims court
- If it’s determined that you are better off
representing yourself in small claims court, a plan
attorney will assist you in being as well prepared
as you can be for such an incident.
- Assistance in solving your problems with government
programs.
- Let a plan attorney assist you and your family
with issues involving government programs such
as Immigration, Medicaid and Medicare, Social
Security and more. Often a free letter and/or
phone call from a qualified plan attorney can

Discounted Fee Schedule:
The following fee schedule represents the discounted one-time
fee that plan attorneys will charge our members for the
corresponding listed legal service. Compare the difference
between member rates and the national average charged by
law firms for the same service.

Guaranteed Fixed Hourly Rates:
In the event a member requires extended legal representation,
our plan member attorneys have contracted with us to never
charge more than $75.00 per hour for in or out-of-court
representation. In most cases, the attorneys will be able
to estimate the amount of hours any given case may consume
prior to beginning work on the case.
This is where tremendous savings is realized!
After the free letters, calls and consultations take place,
members and their attorneys will have to decide what course
of action to take next. In most cases, members will have
no choice and litigation may ensue. This is the point in
time that Legal Club plan attorneys charge the $75.00 hourly
rate for legal care. This represents up to a 66% savings
from our competitors insurance plans. Our competitors in
the legal expense insurance business offer their members
a 25% discount off hourly rates. In California, Florida,
Texas, New York and other large states, this will leave
their members paying well over $200.00 per hour for extended
legal care. The savings with Legal Club will be thousands
of dollars. In fact, competitors required retainers will
be thousands more than Legal Club because retainers are
figured using the attorney’s hourly rate and estimated
time needed to service the member.
Discount on Contingency Based Cases
Contingency fee will be a 10% reduction of the state maximum
rate or the attorney’s usual rate, whichever is
lower.
Law Areas Included
All areas are included in our plan. Legal Club does not
exclude any type of law area. Many legal expense insurance
products have waiting periods, pre-existing condition
exclusions and limitations on usage. This is due to the
fact that they have financial exposure to usage, just
the same way an HMO has. As such, many types of law areas
are excluded in their plans. Legal Club has no such exposure
and as such, takes the opposite approach and encourages
usage. In fact, 80% of all new members use the legal
plan within the first 90 days they join.

PRODUCT FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Our Identity Theft Restoration Administrator’s core
business competency is identity theft victim recovery. They
pride themselves on advocating on a victim’s behalf.
By “advocating” we mean performing all functions
of the recovery process, within the bounds of the law, on
behalf of the victim. The majority of recovery services claim
that they have “beginning to end” service, but
in actuality the victim is doing the majority of the work
and the company is merely providing advice. Our commitment
to our victims is to make the recovery process as painless
as possible by providing a single point of contact that manages
every detail of the recovery process.

ID Theft
is the fastest growing crime in America, claiming 9.9 million victims in 2002 and
costing an average of $1,180 per individual victim.
In a matter of seconds, personal information such as
a social security number, a credit card number and/or
an address can be stolen; leaving individuals to unravel
the financial mess created by an identity thief.
Members will have 24/7 access to Identity Theft Restoration
Advocates who will provide them with comprehensive,
personalized recovery services.
If an LCA member becomes a victim of identity theft,
the plan administrator assigns a Recovery Advocate
to manage the case and activate the members of our
Recovery Team (fraud investigators, legal counsel,
and other experts) needed to help with the recovery
process from beginning to end. This includes gathering
the facts for a Damage Assessment and creating a customized
Recovery Plan. The Recovery Plan outlines the actions
the member and Recovery Team will need to take to complete
the recovery process. |
Examples of recovery services
- Provide Customer with personalized damage assessment
and recovery plan. Set goals for recovery process
- Notify the three major credit bureaus of fraud, place
fraud alerts, and request complimentary credit reports
- Review the Customer’s credit files with the Customer
to determine the accuracy of the file and potential areas
of fraud
- Notify the Customer's affected creditors, financial institutions,
and utility providers of the identity theft (available
on an hourly rate basis)
- Provide assistance with filing a Police Report/locating
office
- Collect information regarding misuse of the Customer’s
accounts - to be shared with law enforcement
- Create and maintain a case file to document the identity
fraud
- When appropriate, provide assistance with obtaining and
reviewing the Customer's Social Security Personal Earnings
and Benefits Statement
- Provide information to the FTC, and to other government
agencies as appropriate
- Assist the victim to restore the victim’s credit
file to pre-theft state

Our Id Theft Administrator has over 30 call center agents
who provide 24/7 victim intake to initiate the recovery process.
The Recovery Team is made up of Recovery Advocates, legal,
and fraud investigators who provide the expertise to help
victims recover from ID theft.
In-depth knowledge and experience in the field of consumer
frauds Our Id Theft Administrator is a leading provider
of Identity Theft protection and recovery services, consumer
fraud data aggregation, and call center management. We
have successfully implemented a highly-efficient consumer
fraud recovery model, and a communication platform to disseminate
information. We have alliances with CTG, AIG, TransUnion,
among others. These alliances allowed us to develop “best
practices” for helping victims recover from ID theft
and disseminate consumer fraud information, elements that
are now part of our core process and case management system.
Case management system We use a comprehensive and scalable
case management tool.
Experience with both credit bureaus and law enforcement
agencies Our Id Theft Administrator has an agreement with
TransUnion to provide participants with credit reporting
and monitoring and, through a partnership with Amcrin,
has relationships with law enforcement agencies and financial
institutions across the country.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Our Id Theft Administrator has a very high standard for
customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is measured
on two independent facets of business: 1) across the entire
membership base and 2) members who have become victims of
identity theft.

Random telephone monitoring: supervisors randomly monitor
customer support calls

Yearly survey: a random sample of customers is picked and
surveyed on a fiscal year basis

Customer feedback: customers can provide positive and negative
feedback by calling a 24/7 support line or a web-based feedback

Satisfaction of Victims:
- Personalized service and feedback: each victim is
assigned a personal Recovery Advocate (case manager) and
will be able to provide feedback to the Recovery Advocate
Manager. All victim communication is recorded in a case management
database. If for any reason the customer is unsatisfied with
the Recovery Advocate, a new one will be assigned.
- Survey: Once the case is closed each victim is asked
to complete a customer satisfaction survey. The survey
has 10 satisfaction questions that can be answered on a
scale from “Strongly Agree” to “Strongly
Disagree”. Each survey is analyzed and stored in
the case management database.
